Daybreak

One very early winter morning on the west coast of Jutland, I saw a fantastic sunrise. The lower part of the sky was lit up in beautiful red, orange and yellow colors, while the rest of the sky was in matching dark blue, purple, light blue and white colors. It inspired me for the painting ‘Daybreak’, where, as usual, I have played a bit with direction, shape and colors.
