Thunderstorm

I got the idea for the painting ‘Thunderstorm’ from an abstract painting I saw at some family friends. It led my thoughts to a thunderstorm over the sea. Originally, I had the intention to play a bit with the direction of the painting, but I think it worked best in the direction it has now. It is a very dramatic painting that at the same time has some nice, coordinated colors.
